We are excited to announce the latest addition to our club — Christabel Oduro! A forward with a wealth of international experience and a true love for the game, Christabel joins the Halifax Tides FC from a storied career that has taken her to top clubs across Europe.

In 2012, she earned five international caps with Canada Soccer's Women's National Team and represented Canada's U20 team at the CONCACAF Championship, where they secured a second-place finish. She also competed with the U20 team at the FIFA Women's World Cup later that year.

Christabel has played at some amazing clubs across Europe from Denmark to Germany, Sweden, Iceland, Turkey, and France. Her global experience has shaped her into a versatile and highly skilled forward, with a unique playing style that blends creativity, vision, and a relentless work ethic.

For Christabel, it’s all about the love of the game. “I truly love the game,” she says. “It’s given me so much and allowed me to see parts of the world I likely would have never seen. Beyond that, it’s helped me grow mentally and emotionally. I’ve met amazing people who have become lifelong friends. I’m grateful for every minute I get to spend on the field—the long bus rides, dinners, and everything in between.” And yes, she admits, “It doesn’t hurt to be pretty good at it!”

Whether it's making a clever pass, tracking back to win the ball, or finding the back of the net, Christabel brings a dynamic, all-around approach that fans are going to love!
