One of New Zealand’s top coaches, Katie brings extensive experience from her time at the country's only professional club, Wellington Phoenix. Having completed the coursework for her OFC A License, she continues to develop as a coach at the highest levels. Over the past four years, she led and built the female academy while coaching the Phoenix Women’s Reserve team, helping many players advance and earn national honours.

During her tenure Katie has played a pivotal role in developing young athletes and propelling them to the next level in their careers. Katie has seen success as a coach with players advancing to represent their national age groups—14 competing at the U-17 and U-20 World Cups last season, and two featuring in U-16 World Cup qualifiers.

On the international stage, Katie was the Assistant Coach for the Samoan Women’s National Team at the OFC Women’s Nations Cup, guiding them to their best-ever finish in 2022. A former national league player for a decade, Katie is now moving from the harbour of Wellington to the harbour of Halifax. She is excited to continue her coaching journey, bringing her expertise and passion to the pro game in Canada while helping build Tides FC into one of the best teams in the Northern Super League.
